My coworker: Fiat is probably the best money because it’s inflationary. Deflationary would destroy the economy. 5% inflation is probably best. That way if things get bad you take it down to 2%.

That book “The 7th Property” would probably be good for him to read them. Author was in a similar spot and mindset.

I’m sure Econ majors may just dismiss it as Austrian dogma like they always do.

I mean he’s sort of right. Deflation in a debt based system is probably disaster, which means moving away from that system…lol
