My coworker: Fiat is probably the best money because it’s inflationary. Deflationary would destroy the economy. 5% inflation is probably best. That way if things get bad you take it down to 2%.

Someone's been consuming too much mainstream media 😅

College economics major… poor kid.

That book “The 7th Property” would probably be good for him to read them. Author was in a similar spot and mindset.

I’m sure Econ majors may just dismiss it as Austrian dogma like they always do.

I mean he’s sort of right. Deflation in a debt based system is probably disaster, which means moving away from that system…lol

Good suggestion!

Yep I’m not going to shove #bitcoin down their throats at work. The same as I don’t do that with my religious or political beliefs. If I get asked I’ll answer, otherwise I’ll keep things formal typically

I generally just drop a vague reference to it and if they want to go further they'll make that clear.

You're right to not force it.

You work with powell ?

If Powell had a son straight out of college then yes apparently haha 😂

Hey who knows world is a small place

Lol he’s not. But he was following FOMC like Jpowell was his daddy 😂

Well trained NPC

Me: I think as we start to see an inflationary crisis we’ll see flight into hard assets. I’ll be looking for the hardest scarcest assets 😉😉

Him: nah I bet we don’t even have a recession.

He/she is not wrong at all

But it would be a long and philosophical conversation

PS: I prefer Bitcoin

I also prefer Bitcoin 🤝
