The reason people drift from left to right politically as they get older is because they understand how well intentioned things attempted at a large scale almost always end up going so wrong that it would have been better if nothing had been done at all or just left alone.

Look into The Cobra Effect.

Interesting. Especially when you consider the cobra effect to central banking.

My theory is that people become more selfish as they age. Therefore less likely to look at โ€œsocialistโ€ ideas and more likely at โ€œself-interestโ€

I wish they drifted from statism to anarchism.

That's giving people too much credit. People just get sick of shit.

The perception that people shift from left to right as they age is often misleading. Many who were considered progressive (left) in their youth maintain similar views throughout their lives. However, because each new generation tends to be more progressive than the last, older generations may appear more conservative (right) by comparison over time.

Does it mean you understand now that whack-a-mole filters were not a good idea?

it'd have to be true for me to understand it

For me, as I'm getting older, it's primarily "fuckem". I tried to help.

I led you to the Bitcoin pond, I showed you how to drink, but instead you want some of the water I collected earlier because it involves not travelling to the pond.

So thick with metaphors. You could literally slice them

I was quite impressed with myself on that one.

The words just flowed, like water from a tap ๐Ÿ˜‚

And thus the wisdom found its shape

For most, they will not bother with #bitcoin until their tv tells them to.

Is TV still a thing?

In Brazil they watch about 6h of TV daily. This is not a concluding metric because MSM garbage is also on youtube. The overwhelming majority of people consume MSM propaganda one way or the other.

Imagine letting other people decide what you are told ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

I'm pulling out the IQ bell curve! ๐Ÿ˜…

Only the extremes are kind of immune to the propaganda.

True

The problem is that once you see it, you canโ€™t unsee it.

You misspelled "the good thing" ๐Ÿ˜
