most pleasant answer is your device with the keys was compromised, but with a strong password that means the password was compromised, if your bitcoin wallet didn't at least have a strong password you um... left it laying around

Right, that could mean I'm being targeted. It would be a good idea to replace my devices at that point...at the least. KYC/AML is truly a scourge

yeah, it really is, but also is your installing software that isn't open source or isn't well vetted or updating it too often compared to how much it is audited

this is why i rail against this constant update business
