I don't know. I was content to think this was stupidity until the BSV crowd got in the mix. Calvin Ayre is perfectly content to piss away millions of dollars, buying fake social media engagement, operating an online media outlet that promotes BSV, and funding fake conferences. It's not beyond absurd to wonder if he is just slowly paying to make bitcoin transactions look slow and expensive. I have no evidence other than it looks exactly like the other completely stupid shit that comes out of the BSV ecosystem.
