My needs are pretty reduced, I live a humble life. I've had a few business ventures but nothing I see that would enable me to completely work for self.

I think lot of people don't realize how much rent they are paying .. typically in the range of 30 to 40 percent .. and at times , it appears changing the location is hard - business ..kids schools .. friends etc .. but invariably finding a cheaper location opens up new opportunities..
as a rule , one should not pay more than 10 % of their earning for rent or mortgage .. if they are doing , there is something wrong .. must move to a cheaper place .. with in the state or outside.. within the country or outside ..
Thats a good point. My mortgage is pretty cheap compared to people around me, but its still a third of my monthly pay.
Although with this 2nd job i've picked up it almost turns into a sixth.
Saw a few videos about van life and camper life living. Me and the wife like the idea, but havent gone beyond fantasizing.
Living with the in laws or my parents isnt worth the satoshi's........unfortunately.
Will think on this more.

The question you must ask , is your home in such a location that it is appreciating at least 20 % year on year ..NO ..I am not suggesting to sell home to buy Bitcoin :-) the home that you live in worth more than any money particularly if you have kids ....but if it takes away a third of your compensation ..then may be you need to get out if the trap ..
American dream works only if you mortgage in top location ..cuz then keeping the home gets you a lottery at the end of five years adjustable .. if it is growing 2 -5 percent ..it makes no sense to stay trapped ..
Camper Van is another idea for the rich :-) .. cuz you won't be able to take roots .. what you need to think about which place and which work gels with your passions - say #bitcoin or #nostr ..
For example - I would have moved to El Salvadore and may be open a small corner coffee shop .. and make that a social media sensation on #nostr and in #bitcoin world .. just a wild hustle :-) as your nym suggest :-)
