230F is too much.

170-200 is the sweet spot 😎.

It also depends on humidity levels.

No, it was great, too many saunas are weak and underpowered. 200+ for sure maybe with cooling cap too

I have my own wood fired sauna and I heat it up to around 190F at head height, 170F at bench height.

I then pour water over the rocks which makes it feel even hotter ofc.

Everything I've read on Sauna has me focusing on this sweet spot.

This factors in the humidity levels as well.

If I was in California / more desert region maybe I'd go a tinge higher or probably just use even more water on the stones.
