I'm 10 minutes in and he's already wrong again.
It's a typical method that he's describing... You infiltrate someone's private life then pivot to their secret life. He's making the mistake that all people that let you see a flash of their true self are going to keep it that way. As if it's some unbreakable bond. Unfortunately, this is sometimes the case but not always. It's insanely presumptuous.
Ofc some people will fall into the trauma bond trust trap.... But I think the world is starting to shift into a different direction anyway. They're tired of being manipulated and lied to. It's easier just to close people off and promoting a small circle of close friends is now considered to be healthy... Unless you're a "social media influencer" then everyone is your friend and your entire life is on a screen and networking, usually working towards a goal that might be considered a dead end........
