biggest “problem” is there’s at most 5 new things to look at in my feed before it starts repeating things I’ve already seen. i’ll scroll through about two before closing the app

how do you know that’s accurate?
It’s the same number reported on nostr.band. You have over 20K followers but by Nostr standards are hardly following anyone. This is why you don’t see much new content.
The humans are the algo.
Duplicate posts are on my list of most annoying things too. You get used to it, but still.
