That's so dang smart! I love it! The ONLY downside I can think of is that it's hard to mount solar onto that if one wants solar. But, dang, that's such a good idea!

I wanted to share as it is really a good deal for a roof. Framing/structure and roofing material in one and clear span. Just needs professional engineer for city limits for the connection specifications.

Solar would require a special bracket, I have thought about it and have some brackets left over from the modification. May do it. Just have to slide it between the panel overlaps at the connection bolts.

Yup. It's a truly brilliant system.

The last thing it's lacking is ease of insulating.

Brackets wouldn't be too hard for solar. And I bet it would work really well with bifacial panels. Mmmmmmm...
