I've seen more hubris and closed mindedness than before from them. It actually surprised me that they moved backwards on their learning vectors.
It's like they grew roots in their previously more open-minded and curious positions.

Honestly, I think bitcoin is such a daunting intellectual mountain to climb, I don't really fault peers, frens, and fam. They are going on really good heiristics ("what does a scam look like", "what does a bubble look like", "what does a cult look like", etc...) that have served them for years. On the other side, most bitcoiners are basically going on second-hand information that's been rarified and synthesized into narratives, so the plebs are limited in their capacity to advocate in an objective and robust way.
