That's quite a loaded ask 😂
But you can define it as using a collection of frameworks in domains ouside what they were intended for. The relation between parts and wholes, how different systems interact together.
What does that mean for a wotathon? If cities, immune systems, computer networks are able to have defense from external attack, can nostr do something similar? What about those defenses are algorithmic?
We had a conversation about network effects on technology adoption. There's probably some relevant parts of that to work with.

You had me at context specific. Tell me about federated inference?
It is a way to distribute learning of model parameters and inference of wot scores without having to share local user data or preferences. So one can preserve the privacy if needed, but still have reliable estimates. In addition, the client side computation just has to be aware of the subnetwork user cares about, the missing information about the rest of nostr network would come in terms of parameter estimates from other users or relays, which is low dimensional in comparison to raw data.

From my perspective, WoT will be the healthy alternative on Nostr compared to the algorithms used by legacy social media platforms. Instead of "serving" an algorithm, you will "serve" your social graph.
