What is the unique selling point of Proton Wallet, why should anyone use it?
I finally got off the nostr:npub18s4zkd0wjq5gkthz4paw2704ty4s354wcp2krvxy0sewz3g9z2cs73ydrt waitlist, but I’m not really sure what to do with this if it doesn’t support Lightning.

I think it's the "send btc via email" feature. That's new and makes it very easy to send/receive payments beyond the btc/LN niche we are in on Nostr. Once LN and possibly other fiat on top of LN is implemented, sending money p2p will be more easily accesible by mainstream.
