If that were true you wouldn't know to respond. It's fine stay on session where your messages are tied to one token & the exploit to intercept that token is public knowledge. I hope someone intercepts your token & retrieves all your messages & contacts.

Great idea, but you are then back to "trusting" them.
I still think once NOSTR finally delivers on proper key management and encourages users to run their own relays and implements proper gift wrapping ,or what ever the most secure encryption method is.
This is going to be the most powerful, secure messaging network out there.

I like Session, but also think that nostr protocol is a much better solution. 0xChat is part way to making it work comfortably.
Agreed, although 0xChat seems to have slowed down development.
Also, we need alternatives to 0xChat, there was a product announcement recently something like "whitelabel" that seemed to be a good alternative.

I’m focusing on developing 0xchat lite version - xchat (a Nostr MLS private messaging client) for the time being, but xchat and 0xchat will share some core code. So future updates will be synchronized.

I get it. XChat and 0xchat are already different apps — XChat is a lightweight MLS client focused on private closed-network chats, while 0xchat is the full open-network social version. Different entry points for different needs.
