I have jars also , usually put about 20 grams in a Jar. The rest of the pound I usually double ziploc to help keep fresh.

I try to overstock on anything that doesn't have a shelf life. I do the same with cat litter, can goods, anything that will not expire. Especially if it's on sale. Makes future groceries and budgeting scenarios play out easier.
