Is Bitcoin safe from Quantum computers used to crack the SHA-256 hashing algorithm?

A quantum computer powerful enough for this feat is still at least 5-10 years away, and in the meantime, developers can potentially upgrade Bitcoin's hashing algorithm to a more quantum-resistant one, like SHA-3.

That said bitcoin public keys are run through multiple quantum-resistant one-way hash functions. While you share your bitcoin address with others so that they can send you bitcoins, your bitcoin address is only a hash of your public key, not the public key itself. Satoshi, you are a genius!
