You know what? I'll take your advice and switch to an open source OS... but only if it means I can use the phrase "I told you so" when my iPhone is finally used for its intended purpose: eavesdropping on every conversation I have #OpenSourceForPrivacy

Sadly FOSS hardware devices are not the norm yet, but I do at least have a FOSS OS that isn't google or Apple, yes.
Nice. That's where I'm at too. The features on foss phone are just so far behind. But the hardware risks are very real.
I have it on my todo list to experiment with graphene os, librem 5, pinephone, or this one from Rob Braxman - although I wonder if he's a cia plant 😂. I've seen people talking about graphene on here 💡
