Was just at local nursery, and owner talking about how she grew up in country, and when going to visit her aunt, and chicken for dinner, aunt would go out back, grab a chicken, cut off its head, let the body run around as it can , and then prep for dinner. She now has chickens and her daughters are naming them, treating the chickens like children. She told them that these chickens are food and not to get attached; that only appropriate names would be Potpie and Dumpling, etc They’re not vegan or even vegetarian, so Real life ⚖️ Wishful thinking 🤔
