went to el salvador on a bus

broke it up in chiapas for 2 days, very enjoyable.
then to el salvador.
the city is ugly. a big american strip mall... horrible
but you can pay in bitcoin everywhere.
at the bitcoin beach a land grab is going on. prices are ridiculous already. airbnb is more expensive than in switzerland.
same in neighboring la union. i do not see the advantage of living in el salvador. the beaches are not nice: black sand and high waves.
everything seems to be centrally controlled, even the government bitcoin wallet chivo. property taxes are also extremely high for a third world country.
life in el salvador is expensive.
small towns are cheap but they do not have any infrastructure.
on the way back i went to lago de bitcoin. lago atitlan
it is nice, underdeveloped because tourists got scared away when they robbed many foreigners on the only road leading there.
tourists are already coming back. it has a long history and a very old, strong culture. they are trying to preserve their culture against the criminals which is the government in guatemala.
when i came back to chiapas i really enjoyed it. back in abundance land, best food in the world, freedom and a culture which is able to survive any attacks
