As much as I don't want to revisit this time in Bitcoin, I feel it's necessary to go back and look at the battlefield now that the dust has settled.

What happened to him ? Is he back in Oz ?

I think he's still haunting the UK but I have no real idea.

Hell would be my preferred final resting place for him . . . or some kind of mental institution for the criminally insane.

He’s trouble. He needs to be in a facility

He's hiding in a South Asia, likely in a non-extradition county, likely on one of Ayre's spare properties. He's posting selfies on Twitter under the "S Tominaga" account.

So weird

The UK has basically deemed him vexatious, prohibited him from opening new cases in the UK, and he may actually still be referred to the Crown Prosecuters Service. He knows his name is mud. His best shot is staying out of yet another Western court system that is largely just glad to be rid of his bullshit.

Good 👍

I followed this entire shitshow since the days when Roger Ver cozied up to Craig. I read the court documents. Listened to Arthur Van Pelt's "Dr Bitcoin" podcast.

I have learned so much about dangerous personalities and confidence games and Potemkin villages of shelf companies and bought engagement. I have learned that there are legitimately stupid people who are destined to destroy their financial well-being by falling into the group psychosis of personality cults.

I consider most of it highly educational and time well spent.

Yeah. I was there at the beginning too. It was just so awful to watch.

I know a guy who followed CSW early on and still does. He exchanged a LOT of BTC to BCH and later to BSV.

The guy could have been rich beyond his wildest dreams if he just hedged his bets a little. But it is, as you say, a personality cult, it's all in or you a not a "true believer".

I've met one of them in real life and I walked away with the impression that he was the sort of person that was destined to lose for lack of critical thinking skills no matter what. He could have just as easily fallen down a manhole cover or been gored by a buffalo he taunted on a nature hike. CSW was just the particular car that took him to Loser Town.

The most fascinating thing IMHO is that the CSW playbook was mostly playing on people's lust for conspiracy theories as well as their desire for an authority figure.

He's a naive person's idea of a smart man, but once you see through the cracks or if you happen to know about whatever topic he's babbling about, he's so transparent it's laughable.

That being said, the whole BSV debacle was good for Bitcoin in the end. If a gullible billionaire and a sociopathic charlatan had been enough to kill Bitcoin, it didn't deserve to survive.

Indeed.

You know who has the same "dresses and talks like a dumb person's idea of a rich genius" vibe?

He’s almost as annoying as Craig

Haha and they have the same affinity for I'll fitting pinstriped suits as well

Totally agree! It's important to learn from the past. Reassessing those moments can really help us grow and make smarter choices in the future. Let’s keep pushing forward! ✨🙌 #Bitcoin
