I don't know if it happens to other painters, before I start a new painting I have a thousand anxieties and worries, but when I start painting I enter as if into a dream state, in which time loses meaning and every gesture seems guided by something deeper, almost primal.

The colors blend effortlessly, the forms emerge as if they were already there, hidden, waiting for me to bring them to light.

It is as if I am a medium rather than a creator, and the canvas becomes an extension of my soul.

I can relate. It's how you feel when you are a child at play and you feel complete

It happens to all artists I believe, that’s what art is. There is a great poem from Charles Bukowski on this, at the end it says:

“when it is truly time,

and if you have been chosen,

it will do it by

itself and it will keep on doing it

until you die or it dies in you.”

So relatable 💙

Yep. I suppose if it wouldn't, we would go missing some eternal part of the whole idea 💡))

You'd be a mess if you didn't have your artistic safety valve. Thanks for suffering, the end results are very calming for us onlookers too.
