We need to build better tools for managing interactions and understanding different kinds of relays from clients. Right now it's too much of a black box and that's holding back Nostr.

Did I break the apps by general requests?

also, the normal user won't want to decide which relay handles which interactions...😬

Amethyst recently changed this and I'm just shooting in the dark for what's supposed to go where cause it previously just *worked*

This ☝️It's a little much to figure out which relays go in what category with the new updates.

"This is mostly a marketing discussion". The NIPs are a bit of a mess to be honest, and they have become slightly political. There's reasonably mature standards out there for annotating URIs (ie linked data) of which a relay is one URI. While linked data is not perfect, and it's quite hard to make an ontology, it scales quite well and can be abstracted over a number of NIPs, and other items such as profiles.
