It would be cool to be able to login with Amber. Putting my nsec into random apps makes me nervous 😱
Yes. No issues with 1.03. Unfortunately, it crashes so quickly I can't hit the "send it" button for the crash report. I could DM you the logs if you need
Looks like a huge amount of work put in.
Unfortunately cannot use yet 😔Continuous crashes with the update. On latest GrapheneOS. Cleared cache and restarted the phone.
Would it be possible to use this with Reticulum also? #reticulum
I hadn't considered encrypted messages. I guess I see the use case now. I see myself out now 😛
Ah! Thank for the explanation. I wonder if this could use an already installed UP provider instead of it's own webservice? One less app with an always open web connection.
How is this better / different than ntfy if you're already using UnifiedPush?
I have reduced my digital advertising exposure to a minimum - very liberating 🤓:
- no more linear TV and no more commercials for years
- switched from Google Android to nostr:npub1235tem4hfn34edqh8hxfja9amty73998f0eagnuu4zm423s9e8ksdg0ht5 - no more mobile operating system tracking, no more Google data mining for ads in God mode
- switched from Google Chrome to Brave Browser (mobile/PC) / Vanadium => cookie tolerance and tracking in settings reduced as far as possible
- watch YouTube only via Brave Browser => blocks all advertising
- Accounts for all meta products deleted and apps removed (Whatsapp, FB, Insta)
- Checked all Android apps for trackers and permissions on https://exodus-privacy.eu.org/en/
=> deleted many apps & open accounts in browser only, because almost all apps track in order ro sell data to multiple data brokers
- switched to privacy email services nostr:npub1s0lcehg2nx2ps6sl33pjy6vaxqmm600tkxladd20wk49j9w98keqfq33wr
and nostr:npub1mea2vwcu06qf7e4x00wd902vj54qnn2jacq76ldntrgfhtvhlpqqrvqane to avoid email tracking
- use hide-my-email aliases from nostr:npub1mea2vwcu06qf7e4x00wd902vj54qnn2jacq76ldntrgfhtvhlpqqrvqane for commercial burner log-ins
- Social media 90% Nostr / 10% X (twitter only in browser)
- only in-podcast and in-video advertising from content creators remain. Understand that they do it for monetization, but I always fast forward. Sorry, not sorry.
- I send V4V for pods that are V4V only
Our podcast nostr:npub1n0devk3h2l3rx6vmt24a3lz4hsxp7j8rn3x44jkx6daj7j8jzc0q2u02cy is Value 4 Value only. It works without advertising.
Be the change you want to see!
Very similar to my path. I've gotten so used to no advertisements and notifications that I can't stand them now and can't even watch regular TV or regular YT.
If you haven't gone down this road yet, start with Newpipe or Brave on YT. It's so peaceful 🧘♂️
Looking forward to whatever gets going!
Notes translation for the non-google play version. Maybe with Libretranslate like Squawker does it?
This please!
This doctor in Brazil brought back to life a newborn https://video.nostr.build/7b900d310e3260bdad1dc788cbf2804c23321aaf7a0715bd5591fc65bcace561.mp4
Not exactly how we do it here in the US 😲, but worked for him 👍

Thank you for this walkthrough! Have been looking for something like this for awhile. Very clear for a new Zeus user.
Ham Radio License Test Preparation
1. Use HamStudy.org: HamStudy is a free website that provides practice tests for all ham radio licenses. It can help individuals prepare for their exams and find online or in-person test sessions. www.hamstudy.org
2. Check Out W4EEY on YouTube: W4EEY on YouTube offers excellent ham radio tutorials. He has playlists covering all ham radio license levels and occasionally conducts live classes. This resource can be valuable for learning ham radio concepts. Here are the playlists for the various licenses:
• Tech Playlist: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZ_9BZQ8gpziUWPBT3rOvSV6MCCeCaiK0
• General Playlist: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZ_9BZQ8gpziv2a26B_IoQ1RbXbIqieP2
• Extra Playlist: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZ_9BZQ8gpzhKG9Ha27YL9szWqBTmlYwU
3. Explore ARRL and Local Clubs: The American Radio Relay League (ARRL) website can help individuals find local ham radio clubs. These clubs often have information about local repeaters, club meetings, and ham radio "nets" (radio meetups). It's a good way to connect with other ham radio enthusiasts in your area. (https://www.arrl.org/find-a-club)
4. The hamstudy.org app has recently been updated. They did a really nice job with it. It’s a couple of fiat dollars, I think you will find it is worth it. https://hamstudy.org/appstore

Thank you for this. Following your posts is getting me re-interested in upping my license to General 🙂
Interesting, I too was raised SDA. Don't meet too many people out and about with this background.
As an adult it has been interesting to see the history of America and some of cultural forces that were in play when these "newer" Christian churches (SDA, Mormon, JW, etc) were founded. I think that's why many of them share similar forms and doctrines.
There are definitely some good cultural parts of these churches that I really admire. But, some parts are just too 'out there' or elitist for me to deal with.
Yep, twice in the same year 😲👀
Pretty sky lights tonight!
