What does that do to your storage size? Will you require users to download language packs in settings or something?
Yeah, this is awesome. He’s doing this client side, but not sure what that does to app storage size. I suppose if it’s opt-in and the user can download the language packs that they choose, maybe it’s ok? #[5]
We will see very soon. ;)
Right now it's enabled by default. No choice of languages. It detects the language, downloads the model via PlayServices and translates to the language the phone is in. If the user has more than one language installed, it doesn't translate from those languages.
Please keep us degoogled android users in mind!
It does not work for me with microG.
