GM. I just bought 2 more new banana varieties & planted them this morning for the equivalent of 12K sats.
The top variety is apparently Dwarf Ducasse & the lower one is Santa Catarina. Both in the ground & mulched now.
There's something I love about procuring a new scarce variety of fruit tree. I don't even like eating bananas 🤣
Bananas make excellent support plants by providing lots of water retaining mulch. The fruit can be eaten, sold or fed to pigs.
I'm pretty sure, left to my own devices, I'd have planted these upside down. 😂🤣

Bananas are surprisingly resilient.
There's a good chance it would survive.
