It could be a new Spammer. You can disable the spam filter in the security filters.

npub showed up in the Spammers list, but I didnt put it there...

Yep, that is the spam filter, you can disable the filter or just follow the person to avoid it being added there.

Could you elaborate how the spam filter works in general?

If somebody posts the same exact message 5+ times in a short period, they are placed into the spam filter. The filter resets when the app restarts.
