Dvorak-er here o/. Dvorak is life. But I don't see the value of it when typing with two thumbs, lol.

But on my phone I have to use qwerty
Does the Dvorak make you really type faster? I haven’t tried it.
No actually I picked it up about 8 years ago. My typing speed was dismal for 6 months and settled about 20-30wpm lower than my top speed on qwerty. Just tested it, and I'm around 80wpm. Which is fast enough tbh.
The benefit isn't speed, but less strain on your fingers.

I find it oddly pleasing that all of the vowels are together on the one line and would be typed with the same hand.
Jack's phone is "special ". As in, that he does not fit in with anyone. Meaning, he is the only one who gets to do anything with himself because it's his phone. "They cant", as Jack says, because it's his day, it's his time, it's his focus. Are you seeing why "they cant". He doesn't like to share anything because he's special needs and hides it from everyone to look like he isn't. That's why all he has is his phone. He has no real connection with anyone beyond what his phone offers him. Hence being a special kind of a loser.
