Lost one of our ancient White Oaks on the farm during a rainstorm last night. The mass of this tree is absolutely mind blowing. Stubborn, relentless growth is a thing of beauty. It’s shade and it’s ability to make us ponder the past will be missed.

Be like the White Oak. Claim your place in the world. Refuse to be moved for as long as you can.

A day or two after the storm. Was in May, I believe. The tree was absolutely massive.
