One of the funny thing about #nostr is how you can find conspiracies about basically anything.
Even if elon didn't exist, people basically only use between 3 and 4 social media platforms. If the government wanted info on an agitator, they wouldn't go "oh no! But which database should we search?" They'd just search all of them. In fact, they would aggregate them into a single database
People are angry. They have a right to be. The current financial and political system has failed them.
Centralised social media allows companies to implement algorithms that direct that anger where they want. It corrals their anger in a direction can be used for political gain without disrupting the status quo.
