I'm not sure what I'm gonna do when Android actually locks down, iOS isn't really any better it doesn't seem, it seems like Linux mobile phones are kinda the only out but it has a long way to go before people will be jumping to that. idk just thinking out loud or in text form rather.

GrapheneOS don't seem too worried. They are working on a deal with a phone manufacturer.
In the meantime, the current Pixels will run GrapheneOS for as long as you need it. Phones have peaked in terms of technology anyway. Barely any advancements in the last 10 years.
