You just can’t pass up that deal. I have about 22 chicks now but my mature flock is down to 5 after the snake incident.

This will make 3 sets of chickens for me. The first, then we got another set about 2 months ago, now these chicks. Trying to space out the ages so we get regular laying.
Yes, that’s the goal for me as well. This is also my first time raising birds from hatchlings. The og flock were all 8+ mo when we got them. Lots of learning and adapting.
