So in Michigan consumers Energy is trying to raise their rates again by 8% and increase the monthly service fee by two dollars. They say it is because they are trying to modernize their gas pipeline . Five years ago they took my original house via eminent domain so they could expand their gas system. Seems to me like a monopoly using the state to steal people’s houses and price gouging.
