• The vast majority think Canada is facing an affordable housing crisis (80%) and an affordability crisis, more generally (81%)
• 54% of Canadians do not feel great about their financial future
• 84% of Canadians think their country is headed for a recession or is already in one

If it’s true that out of 10,000 Canadians , 85 are exercising their right to end their life, I wonder how many of them are taking that route because of the Financial health situation?
Historically suicide increase in recessions so I wouldn't be surprised. But the data being collected might capture that as something other than financial hardship. Might be depression or something like that so it will be nearly impossible to know.
