I have a family member that's a war vet and a complete mess of a person. If his mind was never poisoned to being told hallucinagenics are "dangerous drugs" instead of "critically important medicine", he'd be in a much better place. Fuck the drug war.
The top down narrative surrounding these hugely powerful modalities in healing people who are sick is disgusting. I’m so sorry to hear about your family member. We need to keep talking about this so the conversation shifts for future generations.
I know you are frustrated by this setback. But MAPS massive effort in bringing this therapeutic molecule to light for so many has been massively beneficial.

I used to get migraines 24/7. I went to 3 diff neurologists and tried 6 different treatments. Nothing worked, Horrible side effects, one literally made me retarded (I couldn't hold an idea in my head long enough to take notes in class). Their solution was to "just keep taking it"

we’re never taught that introducing bureaucracy into a system gives that system an unknown expiry date. We don’t understand bureaucracy is line uranium. Powerful, but very dangerous and difficult to handle. Use it wrong, and it will kill you.

Government can’t do anything right
Absolutely, the FDA is okay with paint thinner and deadly dyes, and corn chemicals poisoning everyone. But won’t approve medicine that could be saving peoples lives.
Homeopathy is a cheap and effective aid for many of the problems you discuss. It’s easy to see how it was squashed at the turn of the century by the very same big Pharma cartel that operates today.
