It also seems like holy edition would have to be pro censorship to filter out data transactions when new spam types surface. So luke would have to selectively censor utxos when they have data stored in them.

That seems much more likely to result in a OFAC-complaint version of bitcoin, so im curious why you think its the opposite

Data transaction censorship in a P2P electronic cash system sounds like what a lot of people want.

It's already headed towards OFAC compliance anyway, so there's no stopping it with Core or Knots.
