I'm fairly certain my local router got struck by lightning or got rain inside of the case and shorted out because I've lost all connection to every other node in my area because the router was the only one I could see.

I guess it will be fixed eventually. Either that or the density will continue to increase until I start seeing another node from somewhere else.
