I think thatβs whatβs been happening on nostr. It is good to see people address the elephant in the room and the noise helped. We need to see how it all reacts to it.
I hope everyone can take a step back and analyze the situation with no biases n come to rational conclusions, itβs always fun to go against the grain but in this situation the elephant in the room does far more good per capita then the one pointing a finger with no skin in the game. Hope that made sense.

Itβs not one pleb sharing concerns. Itβs many. I donβt understand how pointing the finger at one of them helps. Weβre talking about plebs that had an insane amount of love for nostr and are slowly (or quickly) losing it. Some of these plebs have actively funded nostr projects for months, directly.

Iβm not saying development grants are not needed at seed phase, but to call it sustainable is not right.
maybe the model should be a mix of everything
Maybe investors should only invest and not mix match investments and donations.
Maybe investors shouldnβt pretend to have genuine conversation about their own products with other influencers who pretend to not know the subject matter for sake of the bit.
Maybe people who engage in data mining and have made a fortune out of it should stay the fuck away from nostr.
Maybe they should all stop relying on flying monkeys to do their bidding. They can try to separate themselves from the message, but we know where it comes from.

tbh, not everybody is a builder nor will they ever be one
it's like telling food or movie critics to just make better stuff if they don't like it. also regular non-devs (like myself) just try to help out by thinking out loud, though it may be considered as noise at times, which i also get.
it would be nice to have more builders obviously, but i also think that shipping things fast to the public here allows the space for the common folk here to share their takes and give feedback, so the builders can reiterate and improve faster, instead if they were to build for a longer period of time behind the scenes without taking time to understand what the peeps here might even like or dislike
