Would have been cool to see it when it first aired in India.
I heard cities would virtually empty when new episodes aired because everyone basically stopped whatever they were doing to watch it.
Just finished ripping (yt-dlp) and renaming all 139 ~45 min long episides of B. R. Choprah's 1988 classic, 'Mahabharat' with selectable Eng srt subs 🤙

It is time again. B.R. Chopra's Mahabharat (1988-1990) remains an unmatched masterpiece in spiritual television. Watching it on Plex—together with Mahabharat Katha (1997-1998)—is a wonderful experience.
