Public schooling/mandatory schooling/private school standards imposed by government are specifically designed in ways that stamp out independent thought in all but the most motivated people (the motivated people who become nostriches) right from kindergarten.
Would have to agree. I do think that there are some great teachers out though. Not a lot, but I feel like we all can remember at least one who was different than the others and actually gave a shit
