I always use Lent as a time to question if my regular vices are compulsive or not. It really helps me get bad habits under control. In the past I've given up weed, it's hard! Melatonin can help with sleep and also sweating a lot every day via workout or sauna gets the toxins out faster. This year I'm giving up caffeine as it's what I've abused most this year. It's hard, I feel unproductive. But mastering yourself is always hard, and the hardship is a spiritual reminder 🥰
