We want to get away from the word "Nostr" because every other SDK has those letters in it and nobody really knows which one is being referred to.

Also, Nostr is one technology the SDK covers. There are other ones, too, that might serve the freedom-tech purpose, like Tor, other forms of encryption, Meshtastic, etc. They may also be included, later on.
We don't want to cage ourselves in with a Somethingstr Noswhatever naming convention.
You language is the boundary of your thoughts, after all.
I like naming themes. I agree that usually I name projects after a theme, and that way the project can morph and it's name still fits.
How about names of castles. Or names of lost cities.
