Instead of Birthday Party at the club, I decided to have a Birthday Party with my family. I felt like I was 10 years old again 🥺.
My uncle who is sitting beside me, his name is Aziz, he has practically been a Grandfather to me my whole life. He’s been dealing with a lot of health issues, and I wanted him to be able to see one more Birthday. My mom and dad hosted, and made it just like my childhood birthdays. It was a beautiful, but emotional night.
As I get older, I want more time with my elders, I want to hear all the stories, the memories. It’s a blessing to be among them.
