i'm staying in for a few days after over a month averaging 8mi a day walking. my feet hurt, i want them to get time to recover.

That's reasonable!

it's not easy for me to do though, as you say, the air really does one good... i feel like i stagnate sitting at my desk coding and nostring.

I have to take breaks from indoor activities every so often just to step outside or I stagnate too. Sitting still is very hard for me.

my frustration at the moment is being in a new place and wanting to explore as much of it as i can, but until these pads heal i'm limited to about 10 miles range.

Oh, yeah that would be tough. Hope you heal up quickly
