Serious question: if a newb comes into Bitcoin and wants to use LN, but they don't have a large enough stack to open a channel and cover the hefty fee, what do they do?

Big challenge. For now hopefully they can piggy back on an Uncle Jim but hopefully we get better solutions somewhat soon.
