Trying to extend the properties of bitcoin to other systems or databases is the same thinking as bananas on the blockchain. Bitcoin is self-referential and can only secure itself.
After he released his thesis and got pushback, he realized his idea was a great leap of logic that didn't really work. He started going sideways, acting irrational and attacking / blocking everyone in sight...
