Today marks my 1-year anniversary since escaping wage slavery and early retiring from the belly of the Beast — AT&T.

Fun fact: AT&T was founded in 1885… the same year the Statue of Liberty arrived in America.

One brought a promise of freedom.

The other eventually became a master of golden handcuffs.

Walking away wasn’t about money — it was about reclaiming my time, my mind, and my energy. The chains weren’t on my wrists, but on my hours.

Now, I build value where I choose, not where a timesheet tells me to.

Here’s to a life lived voluntarily — not rented out 40 hours a week.
