I grew up out West in a Calvary Chapel, funny story — the children’s ministry was started cause of me (I was too rambunctious as a toddler so they started the children’s ministry…I was the only one for awhile 🤣)

Living in the East now it has been incredibly difficult to find a verse by verse expository church / preaching.

It’s all “3 point topical” and “seasonal events” such as “at the movies” or “Super Bowl Sunday at church”.

I really miss Calvary Chapel’s dedication to preaching The Word verse by verse and helping people truly understand it instead of just another motivational speech I could get 10x better on YouTube.

Anyways…we just discovered a Calvary Chapel within driving distance of us and once we are done traveling we plan to attend it!
