The call to adventure continues to present itself to the protagonist until it is acted upon. This is why people say “what is meant for you will not pass you by”. The call will continue to present itself until you accept it.

My co-workers don’t quite know it yet, but tomorrow is my last day working full time at the lab I’ve been at for 7 years. Can’t do it anymore. Need to accept my calling. So back to school I go.
