Yes, I feel the same. The world was more progressive in the 90ies and early 2k‘s.
I think we're still moving forward. Social media just has a way of amplifying bigots.
the government and some big corporations stepping in and trying to socially engineer an outcome has set off a vicious cycle and made less people accepting of things they normally would have been ok with or simply ignored and left alone.
