These are the cash crops, dahlia tubers. they are a tropical plant so they can’t stand m winter
My grandmother used to save dahlias and cannas every fall by packing them in sawdust filled totes. I tried once I think, everything got moldy; I think she maybe had the totes vented somehow? I should ask her this week when I see her.
